The Activities of
"The Group to Convey the Spirit of HIROSHIMA"

Latest Update 1999, Apr 24

** We are happy to show you around in Hiroshima! **

Every year, in summer, about 30 teachers of primary and junior high schools come to Hiroshima from Chicago, the United States. The purpose of their visit is to learn about the atomic-bombing of Hiroshima and nuclear issues at firsthand. Every time they come to Hiroshima, our group welcome them and helps them go through their itinerary here in Hiroshima. Also we give them a tour in the Peace Memorial Park as well as in the Peace Memorial Museum. In addition to that, we offer them some opportunities to observe history classes at public high schools and listen to the survivors' experiences.

It is our sincere hope that more people come to Hiroshima and learn about the atomic-bombing and nuclear issues. So you are always welcomed in Hiroshima and if you wish, we are very happy to give you a tour in the peace park and the museum and also an opportunity to share atomic bomb survivors' stories.

Let us know anytime when you make a trip to Hiroshima and hope to spend some time with us.
